Power to the People series
This set of pictures form my Power to the People series, they all reflect on the power industry and how, although it’s progress may be hugely beneficial, it often fails both the environment and the very people who are supposed to be benefiting from it.
Ultimately in bringing Power to the People does the industry also take it away. Despite considerable protests controversial and often environmentally damaging projects go ahead and currently a considerable amount of the population are falling into fuel poverty due to rising energy costs, in the meantime the privatised power industry continue to make a sizeable profit. It would seem that, in reality, the people have very little power to change or improve any of these things.
The Truth Series
This is my Truth series which I created to highlight issues related to women and the lack of awareness of them. They all focus on different types of physical or emotional abuse and have been created to highlight these often ignored and hidden issues and to raise awareness of the seriousness of these problems and allow people who have experienced these issues a voice and an opportunity to feel seen and recognised.
The Lifelines Collection
All the pieces in my Lifelines collection are now framed and ready for sale. This collection was created to highlight the issues of endangered species and climate change and to remind us to reach out and offer a lifeline to our planet just as our planet is a lifeline for us.
