Behind Closed Doors

This is the story of a girl, you all know her. She’s the one at the school gates or in the hairdressers or the shop you work in. She’s the girl who seems to have everything, the nice house, the great car, the holidays every year, the husband and the seemingly perfect life but behind the door it’s not what it seems. Behind that lovely front door he humiliates her, he belittles her and he beats her. Always careful that the bruises are only on her body, never her face to keep up the appearance of the perfect life. Behind that door she curls up into a ball and waits for her perfect life to start.
