Revolution (What’s Your View?)

This is one of a set of fibre pictures form my Power to the People series and they all reflect on the power industry and how, although it’s progress may be hugely beneficial, it often fails both the environment and the very people who are supposed to be benefiting from it.

Ultimately in bringing Power to the People does the industry also take it away. Despite considerable protests controversial and often environmentally damaging projects go ahead and currently a considerable amount of the population are falling into fuel poverty due to rising energy costs, in the meantime the privatised power industry continue to make a sizeable profit. It would seem that, in reality, the people have very little power to change or improve any of these things.

The picture itself measures approximately  8″ x 10″ it is framed in wide black wooden frame measuring approximately 16″ x 14″ and is ready to hang.
